If you need a replacement, there are a number of aspects to consider before making a purchase decision. Some of these considerations are as follows :

Trailer material – what is it made of ?

Its in the name, but all Spitfire Aluminium Trailers are made from marine and aircraft grade 6061 aluminium which after hardening, rates at GradeT6 - so they are strong and they last and they last and they last !

Axels – what is my boat and trailer sitting on ?

Spitfire uses Germany AL-KO torsion axles which allows each wheel to operate independently to provide superior shock absorption, improved handling and reduced sway. 

Brakes – what brakes do Spitfire use on their trailers ?

Spitfire uses Kodiak or Deemax brakes which are purpose fitted with our AL-KO torsion axles. They are high quality vented overrun disc brakes with hydraulic callipers finished with dacromet. As a standard Spitfire fits brakes to all trailers over 750kg for extra safety and piece of mind.

Looks – what does my aluminium trailer look like ?

Honestly ! Spitfire Aluminium Trailers look great and you will be proud to see any of our models under your boat, carrying your ATV/ride on mower/golf cart or moving your kids bed and fridge from their old flat to new flat ! Seriously our trailers look fantastic.
